Commissioned illustrations are for non-commercial personal use only, unless the commission is a full comic book for publishing, in which case Artist shall provide a different contract and terms of service.Other forms of commercial uses are not allowed (selling prints, products, NFTs, or any other kind of usage that makes profit off the artwork).Commissioner must always credit Artist when exhibiting the commission in any context.Artist retains rights to their work, which include the right to distribute, reproduce, copy, alter, and post the commission in a portfolio or social media (Artist will not post the original full-size commissioned work, but a smaller, trimmed, screencaptured, and/or watermarked version of it, as to ensure that Commissioner and the Artist are the sole owners of the original high resolution illustration).If Commissioner wants the commission to remain private, Artist may charge an extra fee.Artist has a right to decline the commission for any reason.Should Artist decline to complete an already started commission, payment will be refunded in full.
Should Commissioner change their mind and cancel an already started commission, payment will not be refunded.Commissioner may not have a different artist alter the commission in any way for any reason.Once completed, Artist will not accept requests to alter the commission any further.WHEN COMMISSIONING, PLEASE:
Specify the type of commission (illustration, comic page, or full comic).Indicate the preferred image orientation (vertical, horizontal).
Write a clear description of the idea.Include visual references (characters, poses, environments, etc.), or, if impossible, use very precise descriptions.Attach your e-mail and name to send the invoice.
